Distance adoption
The Via del T'ai Chi donates part of its shares to the children of India
For this initiative, our members are not asked for anything,
they know that part of their membership fee is to be spent on this initiative.
An anniversary
2009 for the Association La Via del T'ai Chi was a particularly important year: we celebrated the twentieth anniversary of the foundation (1989 - 2009) and our Maestro Flavio Toniolo twenty years of teaching during which he has always tried to give the maximum commitment.
Since September 2009 then our Association has its own site where we can carry out our practices a relaxing and comfortable environment that is well suited to Taiji Quan and Qi Gong. This has been a dream come true for us.
Value
As a result of all this, our Association wanted to give a thought to those who have received little from life and cannot afford to dream. For the place where they were born, for the parents who did not have and for the absolute poverty and misery in which they find themselves.
The entire Board of Directors therefore decided to adopt 9 children at a distance: 4 male children living in a Buddhist monastery in northern India (refugees from Tibet and Nepal) and 5 girls gathered in the ghettos of Calcutta (India), with the hope of offering these children a more dignified future and with the hope that they can have a dream of their own.
