YANG STYLE, A MISSION

Taiji Quan was born with the monk Zhang Sanfeng - Yuan dynasty (1271 - 1368)

Master Flavio Toniolo had the honor of being elected disciple of the Grand Master Hou Tiecheng and then inserted directly into the line that connects every member and generation of the Yang Family, becoming the first non-Chinese disciple of Master Hou and Master Yang Zhenji recognized in this generation line.

The disciple's ceremony

Being a disciple of Master Hou allowed me to gain access to knowledge and friendships that before, even in the accredited groups of the Yang family, could not be shared.
Shi-Fu in Chinese means master in the most complete term.
There are two Chinese ideograms that make up the word Shi-fu and are that of "master" and that of "father".
Not everyone can call Shi-fu his teacher: only those who are his disciples. Others are not allowed.

Value

You can understand the importance of calling Shi-fu your master and what relationship can be created between disciple and Shi-fu.
The moment I became a disciple, I was enriched with brothers and sisters, that is, all the other disciples became brothers and sisters of Taiji Quan for me. My grandchildren, on the other hand, are those who became disciples of the disciples of Master Hou, but are grandsons of the brothers of Master Hou, whom I have also had the opportunity to meet.
Not surprisingly, during the lunch that followed the ceremony that made me a disciple, a practitioner told me: "Now I also have a foreign uncle and I'm happy about it". He was the disciple of my older brother.
In this way you become part of a family, of Taiji Quan but still a family.
